Brian grew up in Oregon, where he has been providing therapy for 12 years. He loves Hawaii and that is where the name Makai Counseling and Wellness came from. Makai means “towards the ocean” in the Hawaiian language. In his free time he enjoys running, being outside, the ocean, and time with his family.
